Today I'm going to address impulse shopping and how great it can be! Normally I wouldn't categorize myself as an impulse shopper but lately I have made some purchases that are out of character for me. Usually when I shop I am looking for a certain item and weight heavily on whether or not to purchase.  Over Christmas I went inbetween Madewell and J.Crew probably 3 or 4 times before deciding which coat I was going to purchase, I drive myself CRAZY!

Lately though I have given way to a few impuse purchases that are so unlike me, first is I bought a few piece of jewelry from Accessories Auctions. Which I ended up being beyond HAPPY with!

Next impulse purchase I made was signing up for Birchbox. I have always looked into Birchbox but was never sold, that is until the came out with a Gossip Girl edition and that pushed me over the edge. I'm still waiting on my first box but I will certainly share when I receive it!

My final impulse purchase I made over the last few weeks was to Pre-Order John Mayer's new CD Born and Raised. I totally forgot I even purchased it until this morning when I got an email alerting me it was available for download.  I'm thrilled to listen to the whole album today!

So overall I am so happy with my lastest impulse purchases, maybe this is me changing my ways? Probably not, I'm currently researching a Rebecca Minkoff mini MAC I am dying to purchase.

Don't be fooled by the Rocks that I got.

For the past month I have been seriously obsessed with natural stone jewelry! There is something just so sleek looking about it. Not to mention I fell in love with the one-of-a-kind Dara Ettinger earring Serena wore this week on Gossip Girl.

Brace Yourself

I've never been a big bracelet person, except for my James Avery charm bracelet and friendship bracelets.  But lately I've had my eye out for some sophisticated arm candy.

Here are a few bracelets I would love in a set or solo.

One.

Diament Designs Vintage Name Bracelets $12

Refinery29 featured these the other day and I automatically went to check if they had one with my name. These are such a steal and would make a perfect gift.   

Two.

Tiffany's Twist Bracelet $425

I'm lucky enough to have the gold Tiffany Twist Ring, and LOVE it. This bracelet would be a classic addition to anyone's wrist. There is something about the look of twisted metal I just can't get enough of. 

Three.

Michael Kors Leather Buckle Bracelet $65

I love the leather and buckle. This bracelet would be a great replacement for a watch. This is also such an everyday piece, it would get so much wear with my wardrobe. 

Four.

Kate Spade Flying Colors Idiom Bangle $58

Colored bangles are my newest obsession. They are be worn with as a set or solo. My favorite is a single color on each wrist. And Kate Spade inscribes little messages on the inside of all their bracelets, so fun!

Five.

J. Crew Classic Pavé Link Bracelet $118

I love this chunky bracelet. It would be perfect piece for the upcoming holiday season. I could image pairing it with a LBD for a cocktail party to give your outfit a little sparkle.
